After the hardcore was laid, we had another bit of good news when Grundon Sand and Gravel agreed to donate tons of self binding gravel for our pathways. This was a massive help and we then organised another of our major work parties to barrow the gravel from the bridlepath to the garden.
The result was spectacular, with the site suddenly looking like a real garden - helped by the maturing wildflower meadow (above) and the massive amounts of veg starting to ripen on the other side of the site.
We're now looking at the finishing touches that are needed and starting to plan for a Grand Opening in September. What a fantastic community effort this has been!
